I'm planning for Uttaranchal(Nainital-Ranikhet-Kausani) trip on first week of April. Thanks to IMs threads, I've already got some info and prepare an itinerary, but have some questions. Pls check it once and let me know for changes.
30th March - Bagh Express from Howrah....31st March - in train
1st April - 9:30a.m. - Kathgodam....reach Nainital in afternoon, roam around nearby places in the evening
2nd April - Sight Seeing in Nainital(naina devi temple, cave garden, the lakes,boating....what else?)
3rd April - Leave for Ranikhet, visit places on the way(Jhula Devi Temple, Chaubattia Gardens...any other places???) reach Ranikhet in afternoon....before sunset(must)...overnight stay in Ranikhet
4th April - in the morning, walk in surrounding area and after breakfast, leave for Kausani, visit places on the way(places to visit??), reach in afternoon...overnight stay in Kausani...
5th April - need to visit Baijnath Temple and Bageshwar Temple(both are the must)...will also see Anasakti Ashram(any other places?)....and reach in Jageshwar in the evening...
6th April - Spending morning in Jageshwar and leave for Mukteshwar...reach in the afternoon and overnight stay there...
7th April - in Mukteshwar - visit Mukteshwar Dham, Chauli-Ki-Jali (anything else?)...leave for KGM
7th Evening - in Kathgodam for Delhi in Ranikhet Exp
8th - Flight back to Kol

I'm not sure if I'm following the shortest route for these places and also couldn't include Almorah....I think some changes are required specially Kausani -Baijnath-Jageswar-Mukteshwar route...Pls help....
Binsar and Corbett will do mom may not like it....
I'll be traveling with my mom(60yrs) If we travel by car, will this schedule be hectic? And finally, how good/bad the weather will be in that time?
Thanks in Advance

Boss, I mean no disrespect for your religiousness, but seems you are spending an inordinate amount of time visiting temples in the Kumaons. Trust me, Kalighat or Dakshineshwar is good enough ...
If you are in the Kumaons just take in the beauty and charm of the Himalayas - April is a fanastic time to visit, particularly for the views. Just chill, relax, enjoy ...
All the best.
