Dear India Mike West Bengal Travller Team,

I would like to explore deep and remote inside of our Sundarban Forest to see how the local people are living after 'Aaila' to make a documentary on it.

Most of the sundarban trips operated by travel agents are very basic and they only take the tourist to the outskirts of Sundarban.

Anybody already visited some reomte of it can revert me back or otherwise, who are interested can contact me so that we can make a group and take special permission from WB Govt (of course, if anybody has special contact can make the permission easier) and can go to explore the sundarban. Offcouse, We will not go to the core area and not break rules of Govt.

There are so many scenic beauty waiting for us at Sundarban, which we may not know and would like to explore.

Please revert me back.

Love and regards,

There is no human habitation in the deep interiors of Sunderban. I would suggest careful examination of the google map to understand which parts have human habitation and which parts don't. The memories of Aila is still pretty strong but life is back to normal.
In terms of scenic beauty most parts of Sunderban look more or less the same. In fact in that maze of water lanes and bylanes it is very difficult to distinguish one part of Sunderban from another. Even seasoned boatmen often get confused.

If you are willing to 'see how the local people are living after 'Aaila' to make a documentary on it'... just go to Namkhana jetty or Gosaba or Canning and book any local boat and the locals will help you reach the places of your need. Hope they are not frustrated enough with the authority/people went there so far for their well-being etc. ... and left them behind 'as it was' after Aila.

No special permission for going to Sundarban villages, where common people live... and not inside restricted area/ tiger project area, is required. You can inform local Police Station only.
