Just starting this thread to discuss which are the well managed NGO's that run various projects to protect the diverse range of wildlife across India?

In Ladakh, there's
Nature Conservation Foundation
and
Snow Leopard Conservancy
and WWF is active locally as well I think.

In my region, Ladakh, I know of Vets Without Borders and a local Buddhist organisation called Live to Love, both of which do animal care, mainly dog capture, vaccination and sterilisation, and release.

In Agra, i visited this foundation some years back. Doing good work and yes, volunteers were welcome there.
