Dear Friends,

I want to visit Varanasi during Dushera and thus reaching there on 19th afternoon. I have to take a flight back on 25th.

I have 5 and a half days. I want to absorb as mush culture of the place as possible. The places I want to visit are:
1.All important ghats- either by walk or boat rides
2. Ramnagar- for ramlila and the fort
3. Sarai Mohan- Place where silk sarees are woven. (How to reach?)

Is there anything that I should not miss? I have ordered the book by Diana after reading a lot of suggestions here..

I also need help with- When does the Ramlila start everyday at Ramnagar? Is it safe for me to go alone as I have read that crowd is crazy during Dushera?

How to reach Sarai Mohan?

Please suggest places that is filled with the old culture and its essence.

Please do help

Thank you

Regards,
Rachana
