Well, yes... did a little science myself back in the day. Just that I never ate the leaves. Kind-of assumed that one could, though. Isn't THC going to be THC?

Now you're telling me I didn't do good enough science, and I have to relive those years?

That is already heated. In that case too, it is the conversion of THCA to THC through heat generated by rubbing palms, the more the rubbing, more the THC, that is why you will see people rubbing palms all day just to get high in the evening.

There are so many wild shrubs here that smell amazing, not to mention marigold leaves too which gives a wonderful pleasant smell when shaken. So I think, as with other shrubs, I will not move beyond smell in case of cannabis
If you find my posts confrontationist, please bear, I am an old frustrated guy who has nothing better to do than sit on rocking chair and curse the world whole day

Thanks for all the feedback. Just got a 1 year India visa from Vientiane and heading for Rishikesh then Almora. Got a lightweight hand juicer which I've been using for wheatgrass, so that should be strong enough for Mary Jane leaves and Buds.
Dr. William Courtney, the doctor most associated with juicing cannabis recommends juicing 15 leaves and 2 good sized buds per day. If you watch the video you'll learn that this juice won't make you high, but will most likely do you a lot of good.

Good point Jitu, the more it is rubbed the stronger it becomes, this is a fact, so must be the heat.

Getting high can do you a lot of good too. I've met many people who tried it & say it transformed their life & attitude towards life. It can change your whole mindset & views about life, violent people can become dramatically more calm & laid back & serene.

It is an apostrophe that has lost its ego.

(And thus, I suppose, it's reason for existing)

Wild cannabis in Almora

don't worry about the understanding: It is enough to feel the awe

But there is a lot about the production process that I never knew. I wonder if it is necessary to rub the hands until they reach dull red?

You can't see the red colour as the palm turns black completely

Cannabis has no effects unless heated to certain temperatures for a certain period of time (lower temperature for longer periods of time) higher temperature for shorter periods of time. After which it can be ingested or smoked .

Nick.. please do send link to the study on weed v. depression.

Wild cannabis in Almora

Thanks!

It wasn't weed, it was other substances. I'll check the link when I go to the machine. It was a podcast/interview.

Kullukid you mentioned the village Tapovan above, I got curious and found there are at least two Google pages with different spelling for the same location:

https://www.google.com.au/search?cli...iw=360&bih=560

https://www.google.com.au/search?cli...160.3614.39990.

Seems "Tapovan" and "Topoban" in Uttarkhand are the same place on Google maps however there is also a "Tapovan" suburb or district of Rishikesh further adding to confusion.

Is the village I found the same as the one you mentioned? Looks absolutely stunning...
