Hi All,
I Am Planning a Trip To Almora and Staying at Kalmatia Sangam for 4 Nights in early Jan.
I'll Like to Know What All Really Good Places to See.
I am Considering a trip to Jageshwar and another to Binsar Wildlife Santuary.Should They Be Done in one Day or do they require seperate days to visit.?
Any other Place Worth Visiting.
We are 4 Adults and 3 Children!

The trip to Binsar wildlife santuary and Jageshwar should be done on separate days as they both are in opposite directions from Kalmatia Sangam.

Binsar as you know there is nothing to see as such except nature so nature walks and also visiting the villages in Binsar are the only options.

Jageshwar is excellent and you can easily spend a day there.

There is Kasaar Devi Mandir quite close to Kalmatia Sangam which can also be visited.

Kalmatia Sangam is a luxurious resort and the best in that area. Just a suggestion, if you can stay inside Binsar, it is a different experience then staying in Almora. There are good options inside the santuary as well

Kalmatia sangam is just close to Kasar Devi....I would recommend KMVN Dinapani or KMVN Binsar rather kalmatia Sangam.
Walk the three kms from Artola to Jageswar..Binsar Dhaulchina Jageshwar trek is another option..
Binsar(2400m,8000ft) is nice place ,excellent views of the Himalayas

Smile Suggestion Required - Uttarakhand Trip

Hi All.

We have planned a trip from 28th Dec'18 to 5th Jan'19 to Munsiyari. The places in between would be Mukteswar or Binsar, Chaukhori, Muynsiyari, Nainital then back to Delhi and then to Kolkata.

Since the days in hand are only 8 and we are traveling with family ( basically a group of 8 adults and 4 kids ), and the requirement is snow view, what would be the right choice of halts.

Would be glad if experienced people shares their bit of wisdom in this..

Rgds
