You mean 31-Mar-2013? But it is a nice place. You should have visited Jageshwar too and if you are more religious you could go to Patalbhuvneshwar also.Nice place!

Dear Ravi,
The water run mills are called 'Gharat' in hills and it is still prevalent in many parts. Very nice shots.

I have certain questions regarding this trip, which if answered by fellow IMers will be of great help to me.

1.Is this itinerary ok? What can be the modifications ?
2. Car service from Bareilly to Nainital. What can be the cost ??
3.Staying in KMVN TRH or private hotels ? Which will be better ?
4.What will be the cost of Qualis / Tempo traveler for the whole trip ??
What is the cost per day ?
The world is a book and those who do not travel read only one page..

Very hectic. You're constantly on the move.

For transportation, see the Car Rental in Kumaon thread and talk to some of the drivers listed.

KMVNs are generally ok, specially at the smaller places. At Nainital and Kausani you can consider private hotels too. Look around the Hotels forum for options.

The plan seems fine though a bit hectic at places. However, you can stay at Jageshwar instead of Almora.

KMVN is always better compared to private hotels, but at some places you would want to discount the hospitality factor and enjoy other benefits that they provide.

It will be very hectic to drive all the way from Kausani to Munsiyari - although doable
