Mesmerizing Char Dham trip started and ended on a good note...

Char Dham with GMVN

We went on a customized tour of 14 days. From 21st Oct,18 to 3rd Nov’18

Though it was terribly cold, we enjoyed the chilly breeze,  snow clad mountains, non-polluted scenery and much more.... as it was the last lap of the season(before closing), hardly there was any rush (people/tourists). We had good and peaceful darshan in all the temples and religious places.

Tour was booked with Mr. Anurag PRO, GMVNL in Bangalore. Very nice g’man who was extremely patient with many of our queries, till we confirmed the trip!
All through we stayed at the GMVN TRHs only, SDLX/DLX rooms; all rooms were very neat and clean. They even have air cooler in family room and a nice balcony attached to the room. The TRHs also had good restaurants (with affordable prices). You will get to choose from a variety of food. But there were very less choice available for food (mostly one or two sabjis to be chosen from, phulka, dal and rice).

In all places we got excellent reception from all the staff. You feel safe and secured; that’s important when you are out of your place. In all the places, including small place like Pipalkoti, they are friendly; and its’ very rare to find such people in government run institutions.
Overall I feel that the GMVN rest houses are affordable, neat and clean.

I suggest GMVNL services for Uttarakand trip...Namaskar.

Even though you did not get much response, you still came back to post about your experience, so thank you for that.
If you find my posts confrontationist, please bear, I am an old frustrated guy who has nothing better to do than sit on rocking chair and curse the world whole day
