Hi my name is Santanu. I am from Calcutta, currently working in Noida. This is the first time i have come to North India and so everything is quite new.

I just completed my first bike trip last weekend. We went to agra-fatehpur from noida covering a distance of 600kms both ways on my avenger 225. The bike did not give me one problem during the whole route. Thanks to the noids expressway. Driving was real fun.

Very satisfied by the first trip, this whole week I am dying for another such trip.

Question to fellow user,

1. Please suggest simialar trips (from distance perspective). I want to increase the kms gradually. the 600kms were quite easy given the expressway. (sat morning - sun night is my normal trip duration ).
2. Also looking for fellow riders from noida or delhi who like to go on weekend trips.

My focus at first are places that have good roads. I guess you understand the feeling.

Welcome to IM, Santanu!

Try Bharatpur during the winters, and if you find fellow riders to form a group, you have an endless number of destinations in your list. Also, there are biker gangs in and around might consider contacting them and signing up.

Greetings from a fellow Kolkatan working in NOIDA!

Delhi -> Dehradun -> Mussoorie
I did this one in the october, the distance is around 300 KMs one way, overall the Highway is not worth the trip though.
But the Dehradun -> Mussoorie part is awesome.

Delhi -> Ambala -> Chandigarh
This is around 250 Kms one way, the Highway is pretty good and scenic, if it hasn't changed much in past years.
Start early and enjoy your breakfast at Murthal Dhabas(know for their tandoori paranthas with fresh white butter and curd). You can give a few hours to Ambala Cantt too. Patel Park is worth a visit (I spent my childhood there so have a soft spot for the place )

Delhi -> Gurgaon -> Jaipur
The Highway is pretty good for the ride. The distance is around 260 Kms one way.

Delhi -> Gurgaon -> Neemrana Fort
Neemrana fort is on the way to Jaipur, and the route is worth a day's trip. The distance is around 120 KMs one way.

If you are like me and love the state highways, less traveled roads, Farms and Trees on both sides of the road, the try going deep into the UP.

I recently did a similar trip and loved it.

[somehow I am not able to share the images]

Start early and you can avoid the traffic besides the scene is good in the morning.

I do a lot of Bike Trips frequently. Though I am a lone rider, and don't like to ride in groups but a company here and there never hurts
