Hi

I am planning to go to Vrindavan for Holi next year.
At the moment I am planning to stay the nights of the 4th, 5th and 6th of March. Does that sound ok?

Where does the main festival happen in the city?
What are some centrally located, budget and hopefully fairly clean place to stay, that would be good for experiencing Holi? I have the feeling that I will need to book ahead.

Do I need to get up early to get a good place to see things and get some good photographs before I join in?
Where would a good place be?
Any other tips?

Thank you!

Banke Bihari Temple at Vrindavan remains center of activities in the region. It is the best place to enjoy colorful Holi.

We stay at Mathura and visit Vrindavan. You may start early in the morning and remain at the place till noon.
