My Ooty questions
I have some questions regarding Ooty:

3) Is one and a half day enough to see the main tourist attractions in Ooty (Botanical Gardens, Wax Museum, Tea Factory)?
4) How can I get from Coonoor to Ooty and back? I presume by taxi. What is the average price?
5) Where exactly is the tea factory in Ooty? There are probably several of them, please suggest the best one.
6) What would be the fastest way to get from Ooty/Coonoor to Allapuzha?
Would this be fine?
DAY 1
-arrive in Ooty by toy train at 12:00
-Ooty sightseeing by bicycle - Botanical Garden, Rose Garden, horse ride around the lake, Wax Museum
-night in Ooty
DAY 2
-visit the tea factory, relaxing and a walk around town
-in the afternoon head to Coonoor by taxi
-Sim's Park walk
-relax in Coonoor
-night in Coonoor
DAY 3
-train to Mettupalayam or any other mean of transport that is faster and available in the morning (please advise)

3)one And Half Day is Enough to Cover Main Attractions(Botanical Gardens,Lake,Tea Factory AND Dodabetta Peak)
4)The Distance B/w Ooty And Conoor is 19 Kms,You Can Avail A taxi ; I have No Idea About The Fare.
5)Tea Factory is On to Way to Dodabetta Peak.
6)The Fastest Way to reach Allapuzha is by train ; You have to go To Coimbatore to Catch the train.

This thread should be of help in planning day 1, day 2, question 3 and 6.
You could also get a bus from Coonoor to Ooty, check the timings once you get down at Coonoor.
On Day 3 there are frequent buses from Ooty to Coimbatore starting from around 6:00 am. You could get down in Mettuapalaiyam if you want. It would take 3 to 3 1/2 hours to reach Coimbatore.
The best train would be 13351 leaving Coimbatore at 12:10 and reaching Alleppey at 20:25.
