After successful Mayali Pass Trek last year we are thinking to go to Bhyundar khal this year during Sept Oct. Regarding that I need some information.

1. What is the process of getting IL permit now-a-days. I took ILP 10 years back during my Satopanth Tal trek. It was pretty easy process. What is the process now. Can this be arranged before we reach Josimath? What all the charges concerned.

2. Any good agency for porter guides you recommend? How much is the charge for Porter, Guides per day?

3. We are thinking to do this trek from Gamshali Village. That means we will approach to the col from Rataban Glacier side and descend to bhyundar base. any suggestions or thoughts? I know few people did this trek from VOF side (They had some program combined with this as well) , but not sure which one would be easier approach.

4. To negotiate the icefall, one fill lenth climbing rope and few ice axe would be sufficient?

Thanks in advance.
