From where can I get the best/closest view of Nanda Devi?

I have seen it from Kausani, Chaukori, Gorson Bugyal near Auli.
I think closest I got was from Gorson (40Km straight-line from peak).
The best it looked (to me) was from Chaukori (60Km).

Most photos on net are from special lens/zooms, so it is difficult to guess reality.
In many photos I see it sooo close (E.g., where claim is it was taken from Gorson ) but in reality it is NOT that close.

Example:

Close-up photo from net:

Normal photo I took from a basic phone from Gorson:

See the difference in distance? (ignore quality of photo)

Can you actually go to some place like Nanda Devi base camp AND get a good view? (I hear from EBC you cannot see Everest!)
I know Nanda East base camp is allowed but I have not seen any good Nanda Devi photo from East base camp.
Really confused.

So, please help! From where can you really see the most pretty peak up-close?
I can do a week's trek, no problem.

Thanks!

Check this thread for the various vantage points from where you can see Nanda Devi.

It is a dedicated thread for what you are looking for, think it should help narrow down your target..

Nandadevieast mentions the best view is from a distance - the Gurson Bugiyal/Auli. (similar to the mention of EBC and Everest that you make..)
Sar Pass Trek , Rohtang, Munnar, Badrinath Kedarnath, Vaishnodevi, Goa, VOF, Kedarkantha, Kuari Pass, Brahmatal Trek

Sorry snotty, I got so engrossed in the other thread you posted that I almost forgot to come back and thank you
So, Thanks!

And from what I understood, looks like, without climbing a nearby high peak (mountaineering) if you are only trekking:
1. Closest you can get is Dibrugheta but ND is not visible from there
2. Closest from where you can see ND is Dharansi
3. Best view is still from Gorson/Auli.

Planning to go to Dharansi pass, and cover Dibrugheta also if possible, Sep 22-30 Delhi-to-Delhi (Sep 24-28 Joshimath-to-Joshimath).
Anyone willing to join please send me a private message.
