If no stove or heating mechanism available:
Khakra, Thepla, Museli, Cornflakes, Biscuits, Dry fruits, Energy bars, Namkeen.
Can also keep raw lentils, legumes and sprouts, to eat after soaking overnight.
For first day and upto lunch of second day, can parcel several aalo parathas from the base.

If can heat water:
Powder Milk, Tea, Noodles, Pasta, Ready to eat Poha, Khichdi, Variety of ready to eat Rice-based meals and veggies are available in supermarkets.
Learning to be silent.

An extremely versatile food option I find is Sattu, easy to carry in zip lock bags, good amount of calories per 100gm and lots of protein. Also no fuss consumption, can be had with cold water or hot. Another useful item is MTR ready to eat meals which require only hot water to be added and kept covered for 2mins, they are fairly inexpensive as well.
