Hi all

I've searched the threads but can't see anything which would answer my question.

We want to go to the opening IPL match on 3rd April, but I can't seem to find out where I buy the tickets from. I've been on KyaZoonga.com but they don't seem to have tickets that far in advance. I've also been on IPL2013Tickets.com but they don't seem to have them to buy yet either.

Now I know it took an awful long time for the schedule to be announced due to Pepsi buying the sponsorship so I'm thinking maybe the tickets aren't available to purchase yet due to other problems.

Anybody any idea when/how I can buy IPL tickets.

i dont think tickets are on sale yet. keep an eye on http://www.iplt20.com/ for announcements. you'll have to move fast once they go on sale. they'll be gone in the blink of an eye.

IPL 2013 Tickets

Hi All,

I'm trying to get my hands on two IPL tickets, namely Royal Challengers Bangalore vs Chennai Super Kings on May 19, 2013. However I can't seem to find a legitimate ticketing site to buy just two tickets (lots selling only 6 tickets strangely). Is there some link I can go to or other way to book? We will not be arriving in India until right before the match so will have to order online.

Any help would be greatly appreciated,

Thanks,
Scott

where did you find six tickets for sale? the official booking sites are bookmyshow.com and kyazoonga.com. i'm pretty sure they're still not on sale.

a lot of google results say "Buy IPL 6 Tickets". that's not what you meant is it? The 6 refers to the 6th season of the IPL.

Some are on sale @ bookmyshow.com which we've used & some tickets are on sale @ ticket genie in but we couldn't purchase tickets through this site, possibly 'cause we are not Indian.

I think previously advance booking is limited. Now we can book easily, only ticket cost is increasing based on match.

We managed to get tickets for the Opening ceremony & the Opening Match, Kolkata Knight Riders v Delhi Daredevils, which we bought on the day at the ground. We did have to wait around until the ticket booths opened, but it was worth it.

What we found was different ticket agents selling tickets for different teams. Which was fine for the Mumbai match as we could use our credit card & make payment outside India, but not Kolkata we had to pay in person & in cash.

Unfortunately it's all over now, until next time, which there will be but not too sure when!
