Man U scored 5 goals, for the first time since Sir Alex Fergusson left the club around 5 and half years ago, in their first game post Jose's sacking.

I think for now Man U has ensured that they don't lose their players in the January transfer window as Jose was sacked.

With Jose they would have struggled to beat even this side. He was restricting their style of play - too much focus on not making mistakes than playing well!

Man U win their 5th match on the trot after Jose's removal. However qualifying for the Champions League looks very bleak.

India defeated Thailand 4-1 in AFC Asian Cup with Sunil Chettri scoring 2 goals. In the process he overtook Messi to become the 2nd highest active goalscorer for his country. Cristiano Ronaldo leads with 85 goals.

Man U win again. Overall their 6th game on the trot under the interim manager Solskjśr.

Today's MoM for me was De Gea. Tottenham could have won by 4 goals at least but for De Gea.

Amazing game. De Gea finally got rid of his world cup and 1st half of the season demons. Absolutely in his elements! I was standing for the last 25 minutes of the game, that sort of a game. Tottenham must be wondering what De Gea had for breakfast. If you see him after his saves, no histrionics, no pumping fists - calm, as though he did just nothing special.
Rashford rubs it in for Mourinho in the post match interview..

The race to the EPL championship is looking very interesting. City's decimation of Chelsea ensures that they lead the table on goal difference.

The sacking of Mourinho has helped Man U to climb to the 4th position for now, which if they maintain till the end, ensures that they play the Champions League next year. Close behind are Arsenal and Chelsea.

International Football Thread

I think manu could improve their position if the can maintain their form. Not an easy task as they are just flying at the moment!
