Are there any true masters in America?

I really need to find one. One that radiates boundless unconditional love and acceptance. Sounds weird maybe but I'm looking for one.. any leads? Ty.

True masters... Ahem.

Are there any in India? :renske:

No monopoly here anyway. You can find what you want wherever you are. And when you do, it might be eastern or western, saffron or purple with pink spots, robed or suited...

I hear that California is the centre of the spiritual world. But I've never been to USA, so my impressions may be as inaccurate as those of many who have never been to India!

Maybe you should look inward and become the master yourself! ;) I used to follow a couple of guru's,been on several different spiritual paths too,but for myself....I now practice yoga everyday, meditate, and live in the present moment as much as possible.Read as much as you can,and You Tube is useful too.

Sure. If you send me $10,000 for my emotional labor I'll tell ya what you need to hear not what you want to hear. :)

I can suggest Jed Mckenna, Adyashanti, Byron Katie, Guy Finley, Metta Zetty who are enlightened , imho.

There are many like that but when the artificial lights are removed, they appear quite different.

boundless unconditional love and acceptance.

Do you even know what that is?

And are you prepared to give it?

Or to change so that people live you anyway? Maybe, actually, they do already. Bingo... No need for anyone else :)

boundless unconditional love and acceptance II.

Get a dog!

A golden retriever or a red setter would be good, but apart from those species that deliver judgement with their teeth in your neck, most will accept you for what you are, however unacceptable that might be.

(I wonder why people think they are entitled to unconditional love and acceptance? )

No, really... I do. It is one of the things that people think go with (for want of a better word) enlightenment. Why?

:D:D:D

A True Master will tell you to own your shit and tell you what you NEED to hear not what you WANT to hear.

Nobody gets a participation trophy from a True Master.

That's why my students tell me I need to trademark "Own Your Shit Yoga." :naughty:
