11 day Darjeeling and Sikkim plan

I am planning the following itinerary for my trip to darjeeling and sikkim in June. I am accompanied by wife, 2 kids (13 and 8.5 yrs) and my 73 yr old mother who has walking and issues.

- arrival in bagdogra. travel to gangtok. rest on day 1

- 3 nights gangtok (day 2: gangtok local, day 3: nathula, tsango lake)

- 1 night lachen. day 4 travel to lachen and rest in lachen, day 5 gurudongmar lake, travel to lachung

- 2 nights lachung (day 6 yumthang, hit springs,

- Day 7 travel from laching to pelling via ravangla.

- 2 nights pelling (day 8 pelling sightseeing, day 9 travel to darjeeling)

- 2 nights darjeeling (day 10 dayjeeling sightseeing)

- day 11: return tobagdogra

Few questions:

- Is this itinerary good?

- is travel from lachung to pellig possible directly via ravangla and is its fine?

- can i cover mount katao also?

- what should be the must cover places in this plan in the sight seeing's

- should i pre-book a taxi for this plan or take a taxi from point to point then and there only. I have been talking to few taxi operators and they are charging a bomb and also not giving the option of lachung-pelling direct travel. I plan to book hotels directly.

- how much prior do I need to book for nathula and how do i do that?

It's not recommended to visit North Sikkim with senior citizens.

Consider changing your plans to South & West Sikkim along with Gangtok & Darjeeling

Your plan looks fine, but please do not consider going to North Sikkim since your mother is pretty senior and has walking problems. There is a big chance she will not be given permit to go to North Sikkim.

As Suparna has mentioned in the previous post, consider re changing your plans. Apart from the above list given by Suparna, you may consider Dooars also.
