Hi edwardseco, ...... I would never make a news photographer. Wouldn't like to photograph peoples misfortune.. There, but for a little luck go I !
One advantage I have found of using a Leica M6 in India is that it looks "old fashioned". Very few people know what it is or how much they cost, and you get less hassle than taking photographs with a SLR.

I am with you there wanderer. I was a lousy secretary for a board because I always got caught up in the intense emotions of the proceedings and couldn't keep notes as a result. Candid shots are often wonderful at catching emotion in more normal circumstances and are often appreciated. My new acquisition is a Sony ultra portable printer so that onsite I can hand out photos..
