Quote:The Indians have a wonderful saying, Buy cheap pay twice. A hotel room I had cost £1.75 it came complete with a little white lizard that scared the guy who came to remove it shitless. Value for money. I cleaned the room. I was happy.
Would I accept a dirty room in the UK? Well being poor I have upon occasion had to stay in cheap dwellings in London. A particular hellhole behind Waterloo station comes to mind. Run by a Tony Soprano bloke. £50. Stayed awake all night to catch an early train.

Quote:That does sound cheap, so I guess a little cleaning would be acceptable.
Lord, Grant me the Serenity to accept the things I cannot change, the courage to change the things I can, and the wisdom to hide the bodies of those people I had to kill because they pissed me off.
