Very nice and in my opinion a perfect itinerary for these places giving enough time for each and every spot.
Just a question - Nowadays dont they allow cameras inside the Dilwara Temple and also shooting the massive Shivlinga of Rana Kumbh inside the Kumbhalgarh fort?

Hi Kanishka,

Yes now they do not allow camera inside in Delwara temple. Interestingly during our visit we found that one guy came along with his mobile, which we all come to know when it starts ringing, however none of the staff notices it and he took some pictures also.
Regarding Shivlinga at Kumbhalgarh we found this temple open and deserted. Are you talking about this?

Yes sir this is the Shivlinga I was talking about.

When we were there, the guide had told us that Rana Kumbh had such a huge built that when he used to sit in front of this linga for worshipping, his head almost touched the height of the shivlinga. Not sure about the truth in it, but the Rajputs (the Rana clan) were surely well built.

No we rather buy Chaitri Gulab syrup, Saunff syrup and Brahmi syrup .

Thanks for your wonderful trip report it really help me a lot to finalise my itinerary while planning my trip.

Based upon your's and Vaibhav recommendation to the forum, we stay at SRP Inn ( Mt. Abu) and it was really worth for every penny.
In our case for 2 days our room TV has some problem so they themselves return 200 Rs. against non functional of TV for 2 night stay, without even any demand from us.

Cheers
Shashank
