Hi, Iím planning on traveling to Punjab in April and itís going to be my first time in April. Iím worried about the weather and if thereís going to be a lot of mosquitos. I usually travel to India in December - February. Everyoneís telling me that itís going to be hot and Iím from Seattle, Washington, were the weather is always raining and cold but it does get warm in the summer but still. Iíll be going to Jalandhar and Hoshiarpur but not in the city. And I'll be going for the whole month of April and the first week of May. I know this question is going to sound stupid but we'll I be able to survive in April and how is the weather in April and is there a lot of mosquitos?

Welcome to India Mike.
There will be plenty of mossies and it will be hot. You just have to manage. Take some mosquito repellent and stay out of sun. Hopefully the places you will be staying at will have air conditioning.
