Hi
I am planning to go to amritsar in March last week. I will be catching the 07:20 Shatabdi from new delhi and it will reach amritsar at 13:30 hrs. My return train is the same Shatabdi at 16:55 on the same day.
Is it possible to visit golden temple and jalian wala bagh within this short span?
Is golden temple open always? How much time will it take to complete the darshan?
Thanks in advance to the replies.

Yes, it is possible!
One hour would be enough inside the Golden Temple complex for darshan! Jalianwala Bagh would be taking half an hour!

If you book a cab, it would be easier as you will not be spending time in finding a vehicle to commute.

Jalianwala Bagh remains open whole day!!

Thank you very much. How do I book a cab in advance? Can you give me the contact details? I want to book a tempo traveller or Innova as we are a group of 6 adults+kids.Preferably ac vehicle as it would be hot in amritsar. Thanks

I don't think you would be required to book a cab in advance. You may book the same on arrival!

If really interested, you may contact MegaCab on +91 183 5151515 for finding details!

They would be arranging a cab also for your pick-up and drop from railway station.
