Ambala Cantt to Amritsar and Return to Delhi

Hello Everyone,

Please help me out () for Ambala Cantt to Amritsar Bus/Tour since I coundnt get any bus facility from online (Ambala Cantt to Amritsar); the buses are available from Chandigarh. I've plan to see Golden Temple & Wagah Border & then return to Delhi.

Please suggest the way for online booking OR any idea for spot bus reservation from Ambala Cant in Evening 3-8 pm (Since we are coming back to Ambala Cantt from Himachal Tour) & after visiting Amritsar, will return to Delhi.

Also suggest to staying accommodation at Night near to Railway St. / Golden Temple and Next Day Return back to Delhi.

There are many buses for Amritsar from Ambala Cantt all the time. You need not to worry. These are mainly Punjab Roadways buses as well other state roadways.
BTW, you are coming from Himachal tour. From where? Wherever you are coming, you will definitely come via Chandigarh. Then why are you searching buses from Ambala?

I agree with Neeraj, by all chances you will be coming to Ambala Cantt from Himachal Pradesh via Chandigarh.

It will be better if you reach Chandigarh and then take bus to Amritsar. You will get tickets on the bus stand very easily.

You will have options of trains between Ambala Cantt to Amritsar.

I'm not sure about Chandigarh Route but sure tour planner will drop us to Ambala Cant via pinjore Garden route from Shimla (Honeymoon Tour). May be we would return from Panchkula or Chandidarh outside.

If this is the route, then which place we should drop the bus near to chandigarh...!

Do you know any good mid budget range hotel near to golden temple..!
My plan is Mrng & Evng for Golden Temple, After Mrng Jaliyawala Baug and After Noon Wagah Border Retreat Ceremony..!

If you keep them informed about your Amritsar plan, they will drop you at an appropriate point in Chandigarh.

Any autowallah will help you in reaching Bus Stand from that point.

There are several mid-range hotels near Golden Temple.

You will get shared taxis facilities for Wagah Border Retreat Ceremony from Golden Temple complex.

These taxis will take you to ceremony and drop you back at Golden Temple.
