Hi

I am planning a trek near Lonavala in January end. I can find a lot of treks but can't confirm that any of them is ends at a campsite so that we can stay for the night and then descend. If you know such trek please let me know.

Thanx

There are no operated campsites as such near Lonavala. The usual format is to carry camping gear, trek up to the fort and set up camp, or set up camp near the base of the mountain/fort to be ascended.

What treks are you looking at? What is your experience with trekking in the Sahyadris or elsewhere? I may be able to point out some trek+campsite combos.

I think this was an attempt to elicit specific responses a.k.a. covert promotion.

A response was made to the above, which was a commercial promotion and the same was deleted.
