Nah, neither of the two. One of the below is correct, any guesses which one were they talking about now? (puzzle in a puzzle, courtesy the hfot2s)

Yes VA. Just waiting for the above to be solved to give the right one a nod. By the way the elders had already reached here and they still had to complete it! (a small ask after reaching here, but still!)
The next clue meanwhile -

Should finish it.
If not, this bird may have something to help you, now or later!

Yes, it is indeed Purana Qila as VA had mentioned before.
And it is just about 2.5 clicks North of Humayun's tomb.

But, I don't think anyone would stop at Purana Qila and say well done. Where in Purana Qila and we will have closure.

This should help, if the previous clues haven't.

And if you still want more, the bird will make an appearance again to help you out.

It is not a big premise and we are not looking at a small part of it.

The bird to the rescue.

You can trust the elders to send you on a wild trip (inadvertently this time), even when it is not their puzzle!

Aarosh is right except wrong; GP is just plain wrong; AG is rightest. The elders were indeed thinking of the Red Fort, except the one at Agra, 2.5 km from that overhyped saccharine wedding cake.

There exist a great many pictures of cute little tourists hand feeding cute little squirrels at Agra Fort, and there are hedges that look similar.

The elders would in fact have been right if snotty hadn't kept heaping on disprobative* clues.

*Save your search time; disprobative is a neologism.

Very well then I contradict myself,

...and pray, what's neologism?

Why could you not just say that it was a newly minted or is it coined, word? I had to invest in search time, after all.

Well done indeed.

So someone managed to reach the place despite of the earnest attempts to misguide poor folks just trying to solve puzzles.

Congratulations Aarosh.

Puzzle over.

And now no one wants to post for 2 days!

But, today is not the day to complain, today is a day to call truce! Happy Makar Sakranti to all. As the local saying goes - 'tilgul ghya, god god bola!' (Have some seasame (til) and jaggery (gul)) and talk courteously (sweetly))

And also do solve this rather easy puzzle!
