Not to do with horses or cattle or any type of animal (other than humans)

What other attempts? Other than the Tamia fiasco?

They say listen before you speak. I say read!

Previous puzzle - I thought since we are in the same district, we may as well make use of the hard work done for the last one..

Seems like you didn't look at the house having rather big gates.

Nearest would be the last puzzle location.

Yes, a ride, it is.

Oh, for heaven's sake. Let me give it to you.

Nice click , Earthian. It reminds me of the landscape of Satpura NP ( as seen from the other side of the river / reservoir ).

But the puzzle place is certainly not in Satpura. Hoshangabad is eliminated.

Thanks, AG. Not in Satpura, though, as you have deduced.

We stayed one night here. It went down to zero degrees Celsius or thereabouts. Had to remove the frost. No electricity and hence no electric heaters during the night. Had a sigri (crude wood based stove) belching out smoke and the wife used 3 rajais (comforters) and me, for warming her.

But it was a great place and would go there again.

None of these places, Snotty. Read and look at the clues again and what our venerable elder has hinted too.

You are getting hot. Timkali is the closest, but probably not the village. (Since i don't know)

Backwater? You mean the feeders? And if so, you would be right.
