Yes, my primary aim is to capture the natural beauty of the Andamans in terms of land and sea scape.
I am using a Nikon D5000 body and have the kit 18-55,a 70-300mm VRII and a nifty-fifty(50mm f1.8).
My budget is under 50k for the wide-angle.
Also could you help in terms of some good and economical other gears like:
1.Tripod(less that ₹ 5000)
2.Filters(I heard ND filters and Polarizer filters would be good for landscape)
3.Camera bag"

My answers :For UWA lens you have good budget. Go for a Tokina 11-16 f2.8 or the much underrated Sigma 10-20. The leftover budget may be used elsewhere.Don't buy a cheap tripod. It is a sure way of ruining your gear as sooner or later it will cause a drop of your body+lens. Just last year I watched in helpless horror , One 5D Mark III plus a 70-200 L lens, mounted upon a flimsy, so called "traveller" tripod to fall and suffer a lot of damage. Buy a Tripod legs with minimum 3 times wight rating of your heaviest gear and the ballhead must have 5X wight rating. Keep aside around 15K to 20K for that.I have written about filters here in this thread , check out. Please also spell out what kind of bag you need ( backpack? slings?) , also spell your budget for that.
