Nikon 5300 - Which lens should I buy
Hi I am new to Dslrs I want to buy one to get better picture quality for personal use, functions, festivals or trips. Maybe if i like it then can go for some course as well. But for now I want to explore.
I have finalized Nikon 5300 but i dont know which lens should I buy : Should I buy 18-55 + 70-300 or take 5300 body + Tamron 18-200
I do not want to spend too much also but i need good quality photo with decent zoom to capture wild life (if I plan to visit national parks) Rest it will be all good quality pics. Please help i need to but it soon maybe today. Thanks in advance.

A good fast telephoto lens will cost you a pile. If a kit lens is included, use that to get familiar before jumping in from the git-go. The kit lens is pretty decent and can be used for many occasions.
The 70-300 telephoto is a very good addition as you seem to have that requirement. Further, a wide angle lens like a Sigma 10-20 mm may prove useful.

18-200mm lens should be a good overall choice for a standard zoom to semi-telephoto lens. IMHO, buy it first, get used to DSLR's and then choose to invest. At first you need to find your preferences - are you a scenic beauty shooter or wildlife shooter or a function/festival shooter, because all these need different set of lenses. So get to know your preference first then invest.
And, breaking news for you... if you choose not to spend too much, you will not get good quality lens.
