Hello,
Anyone here, can please guide me, how can I manually focus with my Canon 10-18 STM lens to infinity in Dark night? It would be really a help for me. Planning to take some night photograph in the Himalayas with it.
Thanks in advance for all suggestions.
Regards.

Do the manual focusing during day time , put a mark ( a point) on the lens where it perfectly focuses the infinity for a particular focal length & pull the focus ring manually during night to that point (at that predetermined focal length ) . It worked fine with me for my Manual SLR Lenses

Superb tips.;-)
It has always been my pet peeve that how most modern lenses lack usable infinity hard stop and Dof scale.
With my 14 24 lens i simply autofocus to star or moon and after focus lock switch off autofocus. Take great care that focusing ring dosn't move afterwards as even a little movement will get the focus slightly off which may not be detectable through LCD.
Cheers
