Hello!

I'm looking for clarification on the No Objection Certificate for dogs.

My husband and I will be moving to Chennai in September but will arrive in Delhi - the most direct flight from Japan to India.

We have contacts in Chennai, however, our corporate relocation company have argued that we must get the NOC cert from Delhi (which they will do for us for $600 usd) rather than from Chennai where we could get it arranged for free (or minimal cost).

Does the point of disembarkation make a difference? Can the NOC be secured from any quarantine office?

All advice appreciated!

Thanks

Check with the folks at http://www.petfly.in/
They are based out of Delhi.
You can give them my reference if you like.
I had used them to transport my dog (Shayna).

They'll either be able to do it for you or at least guide you in the right direction.

Good Luck,
Madhu

Thanks Madhu,

I'll check with them. I have asked furrypets but am still waiting for an answer from them.

For anyone else that reads this thread.....

The NOC can be issued by any quarantine office in India however the preference is to secure the NOC at the point of entry into India.
