Often I am asked where the to take an animal for care, sterilisation or report a case of animal cruelty.

In the big cities there are some very prominent animal welfare organisations which are easy to find but in the small towns it is often tiny organisation or even individuals which help to alleviate animal suffering.

To find the latter can be very difficult as many have no websites and some are not listed anywhere.

So perhaps we can start compiling a list with those we know of.

Lets start with

JAIPUR
- Help in Suffering does sterilisations, the contact person is Ms. Timmie Kumar timmiekumar@hotmail.com.

UDAIPUR
Animal Aid Udaipur, Claire Abrams claire_devi@yahoo.com
The time will come when men will look upon the murder of animals as they look upon the murder of men.

It might also help if the multi center or national ones are added.
Is SPCA one of them? Are they involved in Animal rescue?

I think we can indeed add any organisation that can support animal welfare.
If known, a short description of what they do will be useful (e.g. sterilisation, animal legal aid, etc.).

It would be good if in the title we put the city name (like Jituyadav did), so it will be easier to find once we have covered the whole of India .
