Hi , its the 10th January and ill be finished this part of my travels in Jaipur in 2 days time - the 12th . I have to be in Varanssi on the 21st of this month so that leaves me nine days to use . I want to go some where to chill out , preferably somewhere where the day time temperatures are at least 15-20 degrees . Has any one got any suggestions ? . So far i keep being told to go to Goa but i'd like somewhere different as i did that kind of thing few years ago on the beaches of Thailand so would like something different . Any suggestions greatly appreciated .

Hi uroy,

Maybe Ladkshadweep Islands? Check out the forum here:

hampi is a great option, Ladkshadweep is unpractical for the amount of time you have. while hampi is a good idea, may i suggest that while that is possible, it is going to be a long journey from where you are in jaipur to hampi and then to varanasi. i would advice you to visit shimla or another hill station (not too high due to snow) but something in the north where it is easier to get to varanasi. shimla is a great option beautiful mountain vistas and a great town to explore for the period you have. then head down to varanasi. i could not be any more jealous of the time you are in varanasi. it is so beautiful this time of year and luckily you avoid the heat. no matter you journey, enjoy and keep us updated.
