Hi,

I'm planning a journey in Rajasthan next October and I was wondering if I could visit a less-known and quiet place somewhere between Jodhpur and Pushkar where I can spend one day.

I found the village Rohat, but it's hard to find any information about it. Can I see village life there? Do you have any recommendations how to spend the day?

I'm going to travel with some friends on a tight budget, can you advice any acommodatin for us?

Is it a good idea to visit Rohet or I should choose another village?

Maybe it is above your budget but this 2-day desert tour, organized by the Durag Niwas Guesthouse in Jodhpur is certainly worth the money. http://www.durag-niwas.com/tharandbi...our/index.html

Chandelao could be an option.
