Pilgrimage Trek
Hello. Im new and have been reading this fascinating forum for some time. Thank you all for the great posts etc! I want to ask about 'off the beaten trek' treks. I want to do something memorable like a walk down the Ganges (I know its been done :
) etc. Or perhaps a famous Pilgrimage route. I read about the Char Dham but is that practical I mean can you actually walk that from one point to another? Or a walk down a great river, although I can imagine the difficulties. I know its a bit vague; I am searching for inspiration. Im experienced hiking but not mountaineering or extreme heights (dont trust meself at my age near 50. ) Or another River? Could you walk the Krishna for example
