Hey,

I'm wondering of traveling solo to remote/offbeat (not too commercialized) places around Mumbai which would be enough for a weekend (Fri-Sun).

Please suggest some places/threads/forum posts so I may start backpacking ASAP.

Thanks.

You could also consider Guhaghar around 50 kms from Chiplun. Good beach and good sea food at Annapoorna.

There's plenty. As the other forum members have pointed out, you could also try Harihareshwar, Kashid, Alibaug, Murud Janjira, Panchgani, Mahabaleshwar, Nashik, Bhimashanker etc.

Depends on what's your interest. Wildlife? Historical? Food? Cultural?
Travelling. What else? Theuntourists.com
