Is it the first snowfall of the year in these places?

Just came back from Chopta/Tungnath area... There has been just one snowfall a few days ago, and that too has melted away...

Even big peaks like Kedarnath, Chaukhamba had huge patches without snow, which was not the case when I went there last year
