I am planning to visit Kuldiha and Satkosia.

Can the forest rest houses [FRH] be booked from calcutta, any contact anyone?

OR any tour operator or travel agent in ORISSA who could facilitate the process.

My tour will be like

1. Night stay at Kuldiha sanctuary.
2. Night stay at Kuldiha sanctuary
3. NIGHT STAY AT SATKOSIA
4. NIGHT STAY AT SATKOSIA
5. NIGHT STAY AT SATKOSIA
6: NIGHT STAY AT BANGRIPOSI

Bangriposi can be done through OTDC office here calcutta, but for the forest rest houses can it done from here in calcutta or through any tour operator in Orissa.

Thanks

Hi
I have done the trip via Satiskoia to Phulbani by motorcycle. It was to say the least 'rough riding' and in parts rough 'pushing' but this was a few years ago. This Feb 2010 I started on a journey on the route to Satiskoia by motorcycle and discovered the main bridge has collasped and therefore currently work is being carried out to form some temporary crossing (not suitable for cars at this time) I got accross with the bike only to find a km. further on two other small bridges also collasped. It need a balancing act to get off and push the bike accross, after which I abandon going any further. It was only to have been a day trip anyway. So I guess its best you find out the current situation as it did not look promising in Feb.

Incredible kuldiha!! (a must see destination)

We are planning for a jungle trip & since we have only 3 days in our hand, we have planned for Simlipal Forest and called Mr. Avijit saha on board.
We suggest kuldiha instated of simlipal because simlipal is now closed due to Maoist infiltration. . So, as per his suggestions we have planed the kuldiha trip. It’s a memorable trip in many ways. Kuldiha amazed us with plenty of wildlife, superb hospitality at Frh Kuldiha (both tent and suit room) and outstanding food & beverages coutesy Mr. Saha. Anyone interested can contact the undersigned @. 9330109744.

Can any one suggest how is the trip conducted by Mr.Avijit Saha in Kuldiha? What about the accomodation? Is it good? Do the rooms have attached bathrooms? How many rooms are there?
