Gopalpur on sea Hotels(non-star)

Just back from Gopalpur on Sea. I was there for 5-6 days. This time I stayed at a Hotel called "SEA SIDE BREEZE". I will fail in my duties if I do not mention the excellent location of the Hotel. Perhaps, the best located Hotel in Gopalpur. We were on first floor and the sea was visible almost 180 degree. In the night, when no sound was there, it looked like the sea is coming right in our room. Otherwise, the Hotel is very humble, but clean, very helpful staff, attached bath (but no Geysar), no towels or soap (u must carry your own), food is available on request with advance notice. The rooms has small colour TV with cable connection. The Manager, Munna, is ever smiling and quite helpful. My recommendations to budget travellers : If u are at Gopalpur, stay here. You will like the place.

I agree Sea Breeze is a good choice, also excellent is the Green Park Hotel. Eating in Gopal-Pur is difficult as they don't have ANY decent restaurants, so you more or less have to order your meals in the morning for lunch/dinner and of course by the time its evening your taste buds maybe craving for something quite different.
Enjoy

They do have excellent seafood though - there's a whole line of shacks along the waterfront selling delicious fried crabs and whatnot.
