Hi, I would like recommendations about trekking groups in Mumbai. I am interested in something not too intense, but moderately challenging. I have seen ads from the Bombay Natural History Society in the TimeOut magazine. Has anyone gone on a trek with them? What is the average age of the group?

^^ Hey! I think you will find all your answers at this site..

there are numerous trekking groups of various types. Do check this site out in a very detailed manner. Then you can revert here for more specific questions on any trekking groups that appeal to you. I'll be happy to answer them.

P.S--By different types of groups I mean they offer different experiences of trekking. The smaller ones are mostly run by college students, so they are much more economical. Other groups offer a rather luxurious experience (in the form of commute and food). So that's upto you...

Happy trekking!!

I am interested in joining a trekking group based out of Mumbai. I am an amateur so would prefer something which is not too advanced, however not something which is too basic. Does anyone know of a good group which regularly organises treks and is also safe for women?
