I hope you don't intend to drown the poor creature in Glenfiddich along the lines of the Ortolan in Armagnac.

They are then thrown alive into a vat of Armagnac, a trick that manages to both drown and marinade the animal at the same time. Killing two birds with one glug, as it were.

Regarded as tastier even than foie gras, the birds are kept in a darkened barn for two weeks, force-fed millet and then killed with a shot of Armagnac liqueur.
Trust the Telegraph to expose these barbarian frogs.

While GPs look cute and are kept as pets, they're still wild animals. It's not like trapping an escaped house cat on the streets of Chennai and eating them. Now if someone grilled their pet GP that would be a different story. IMO.

If I was in Peru and still ate meat I'd probably try one. Without the head on tho, that's kinda creepy.

Guinea pigs are commonly eaten in Peru, they're street food.

And a delicacy served with potatoes and salsa.

Passing a fitness shop I enquired the price of this, and after the shopkeeper stopped laughing at my physical condition, he informed me it was 21 a killo, so not too much difference in price to Mumbai. (No whey smuggling profits, methinks...Rs 90 to 1 xe rate.)

Not having a wifey, I have to shop for myself. Today I bought 4 pint cans of Stella lager for 5. I am currently exchanging them for a hangover.

Hope this helps.

The 4 pint cans of stella are my favourite weekend treat as well. They have to be the full pint (568 mls) and not the tiddly 440 ml ones..

Things are interesting in India though. A 330 ml bottle of beer is classed as a pint

Mostly the thought process and belief is like this;

First year, first birth as married couple, second year, second birth together...by seventh year the thoughts are...good we are together, this is wonderful, but let it be the seventh birth and get done with it, I need change.

It is a good way of justify being vegetarian though. You can never eat meat if you think that the animal could be a relative of yours.

PS: Having eaten most species of animals , I don't believe in rebirths.

That's where the Glenfiddich comes in?

BTW, how did you determine that this is your #1 birth? You might be on the #7 already.

The first birth is confirmed, the second is RAC and all subsequent births are WL.

I think we've finally scuppered (futtocked?) the thread. I wonder what OP would make of it.
