We are coming to Pune for several months this fall. My husband will be here for about 9 or 10 weeks, and I am going to visit for the month of November.

Our company has offered for us to stay at either Beverly Heals Hotel (Lula Nagar) or Seasons Apartment (Koregaon Park).

We've heard that Koregaon Park is the best place for expats to stay.

Any comments?

Thanks,
Jane & Mike

Koregaon Park is the area where the affluent live, so it's a good choice. Many westerners live in the area, as the Osho resort (called ashram, but rather resortlike) is there too.

Right, Koregaon Park would be the ideal choice.. because of many expats, you would find almost all things, usually you would need in near by areas.

I looked over the Seasons Apartments last month during our house-hunting trip in case we couldn't find an apartment that we liked in time for our relocation. They were nice and rather better than a standard (or even suite) hotel rooms and if the apartment we are negotiating on falls through we'll probably stay there when we get to Pune while we find somewhere more permanent to live.

Thanks very much Chesil. It is really helpful to hear first hand from someone who has checked out the apartments. Let me know if you do end up at the Seasons Apartments. We will be in Pune for a short time, and am hoping that we can make some friends.

Did you arrive? We aren't in Seasons, but would be happy to get together some time.
