Hi,

I'm looking for good residential societies in Aundh/Baner. As my office is in Baner, I want to live close by. I'm looking for 1BHK furnished apartments with facilities such as Gym, Pool, Laundry etc.

Any suggestions for good residential societies in Aundh/Baner are welcome. I did look at Prism and Rohan Nilay in Aundh, but I think they only rent for families and not for bachelors.

Thanks in advance!

You will not find many 1 BHKs in these areas with all the amenities. The realty market is up for a 2BHK and 3BHK and aundh and Baner are the hot spots.
Bike rides - Kashmir to Leh and Sikkim, Jungle safaris - Corbett,Chikhaldara, Kanha and Gorumara. Traveled through MP, Himachal, J&K, Maharashtra, W.Bengal, Sikkim, Uttarakhand, Goa, Karnataka, AP . . . Yet feel so New to traveling in India.

There are some very good 2 BHK societies in and around Baner/Aundh but I am not sure on the bachelor and specifiallcy a non Indian being able to grab something easily. Did you try your office portal for classifieds? Shall I lookinto my office portal? Did you try magicbricks or likes? Also keep in mind Avoid brokers if possible.

Hi,

I'm actually an Indian. I just was living in the US for the past 7 years. Yes, I will be a bachelor who is looking for 1BHK or 2BHK options. It would be great if you could suggest some options by looking at your office portal for classifieds? Unfortunately, my company doesn't have any special classifieds.

I did look at some of the listings in Magicbricks. Aren't those listings also not posted by brokers?

You will not find any residential complex with laundry facilities in the complex. If you aren't planning to buy a Washing Machine/Dryer, then best way is to rent a furnished apartment which has a Washing Machine. A furnished apartment with a dryer will be near impossible to find.

That said there are lots of apartments with Gyms, Pools etc in Aundh and Baner. But the simplest way is to go through a broker and pay him a month's rent as commission. A lot of companies reimburse you for it as part of the relocation package. Broker's know which are flats where the landlords are willing to rent to bachelors.

Hello Friends,

I am very new to this forum. Was going through the threads which are very much informative.
I am moving from Bangalore to Pune in Sept- Oct 2015 with my family. My office will be in Baner Road. So need few information regarding this.
1. Where to take rented flats in Pune around 12-13.5K(With maintenance) for a 2BHK? I need a safe place as I will be working in shifts and my family needs to be safe.
2. In 99acres/ Housing.com I found many house which is little higher in price than my budget and also very very less/ none cupboads/shelf. Cant I get good semi furnished flat with at least cup boards in Pune with in that range?
3. I am having one Bike so will it be problematic to get registered in Pune?
4. Need to know good budget Hospitals/ Doctors in Pune for Gyneo and Child specialist.
5. What are do's and dont's to stay in Pune?
6. How is the cost of living in Pune?

Thanks in advance.
