Hi, I have joined a company in hyderabad. The office is in somajiguda area, panjagutta chaurasta. I will be relocating to hyderabad soon. Can anybody tell me which is the cheap and best place to settle in hyderabad. I have a family, so a decent locality with 2+1 BHK with 7000 to 8000 max rent would be good for me.
Thanks, AMIT RANJAN

Look at areas in Begumpet, Rajbhavan Road, Ameerpet, Durganagar Colony at Panjagutta, for a start. These are very busy areas, but there are enclaves that are relatively peaceful- and they are close to work. You could also look at places in Banjara Hills.

7000/8000 may be a little low for a two bedroom apartment in a decent building. Perhaps around 10k upwards, but shop around.

Of course, if you have schoolgoing kids then that will come into the matrix.

thanks capt_mahajan for the suggestion. But my budget is not more than that. And I also do not look to live in very close proximity to office. There must be some areas in hyderabad where I can find the decent accomodation in this limit. Please provide more info apart from upmarket areas. What about near secuderabad railway station.

I would still look at those areas first, because one may well find something there. You could also look at areas near Dharam Karan Road in Ameerpet, Begumpet- Chikoti Gardens and Shyamlal Building areas. I am quite sure you will get something for 7/8000, or even less in one or two places; maybe the building will be a little older or the immediate location less than excellent- or maybe not. Rentals fluctuate quite a bit in present times.

Secunderabad Station is not a residential neighbourhood, is far and traffic is murder, besides it being very noisy and unsuitable in many ways.

Stay cool Shweta,

All you need to do is grab a copy of yellow pages when you are in Hyderabad.

If you need close to office, SR Nagar, Vengal Rao Nagar, Madhura Nagar will be the right choice.

I did the same thing when I moved to Hyderabad. So dont worry.

With Warm Regards
