I'll be moving to New Delhi in April, and one of the guys in my office has offered to help me find housing and be my "welcoming committee." I'm wondering if I should use a professional relocation service. Does anyone have any recommendations? Are they worth it? Thanks!

How big is your relo process? If it's just you, no family etc. it could work. In my jaded 21st century mind I'd be a little wary of extending too much trust in co-workers. The main thing I'd encourage is do lots of reading on IM, and allow plenty of time for orientation and finding a place. Rushing it will cost you, financially and emotionally.

I wrote up a relo summary that may be useful on post #5 here.
