pantelis

You describe yourself as Greek which suggests that you don't have an automatic entitlement to be allowed to work in India. Use the search bar at the top of the page to research Employment Visas.

Do you plan to find a job and then come to India? Working on a tourist visa is illegal, if you did not know that.

Working.

It is illegal to work on a tourist visa.

To work you would need an employment visa.

To summarise the employment visa requirements:

You will need to be a highly skilled and qualified professional
The job needs to be with an Indian company
You need to have a firm job offer in writing
You need to apply from your home country

There is also a salary threshold of US $25,000 per annum - however I am not certain they apply that to Specialist Chefs.

"Living permanently"

It is not possible. Unless you find an Indian to marry.
