Hi I am moving to Gurgaon in just over a month now, and I was wondering if the apartments have stoves or refrigerators or if you need to buy them? If you do have to buy, then any suggestions would be helpful

Thanks

Almost all apartments come with just the walls, doors and windows. Everything from light bulbs, stoves and appliances and furniture needs to be bought.

Unless, if its a furnished place.

There are plenty of appliance stores in every city.
He can look at the nearest out let of Croma or reliance digital.

You could also join Delhi expat group Yuni-net - departing expats sell stuff there.

Another thing is to check the India websites of popular manufacturers like Samsung, LG, Phillips etc. They generally show prices, and discounting, at least when I lived there, was minimal.

you could even look at the local newspapers, and see full page advertisements on sales ( when they happen, mostly before festivals ).
