Dear Beloved people of India,

I am from malaysia, i'm actually really looking forward to start anew in india. I'm currently working as a network administrator in my country, I would love to know a few things before stepping in India.
  1. What is the best place to work for IT graduates in India?
  2. What is the minimum wage to live a decent life? (3 times meal a day, and a single room)
  3. Do they favor foreigners like me to work in IT companies?
  4. Is Public transport good and reasonable?
  5. What are the chances for a man to start up a company in India if he has nothing at all, But he has determination?
  6. Is Delhi a good place?

Hello Lawrence,

Welcome to IndiaMike.

As a 'foreigner' you cannot simply move to India and seek employment. You can see the requirements for an employment visa through this link:

http://www.indiavisa.com.my/visa_typ...yment_visa.php

In brief:

You will need to be a highly skilled and qualified professional
The salary has to be no less than US $25,000 per annum
The job needs to be with an Indian company
You need to have a firm job offer in writing
You need to apply from your home country

Yes, a professional with high income - and if they can find an Indian to do that job, they won't hire you. Sorry, I'm sure that's not what you wanted to hear.
