Hello there,

Our official trip is going to Thailand this coming weekend and for that we need to exchange Indian Rupee to Thai Bhats. Could anyone of you suggest me a good legal firm where I can get best currency exchange rates and also it would be good if they can get it delivered at home.

I don't wanna exchange it with any local money changer in Karol Bagh as my past experience with them is not that good. Also, I don't want to exchange with my own Bank. i.e. ICICI Bank as banks usually charge you more. Right?

Thanks in advance.

The Thomas Cook counter in the departure area at Delhi Airport will do it.

Use Thomas Cook, Rennie/Bidvest if available, banks commission and rate are generally higher...avoid the "shady" dealers at all cost.

Really?
I have exchanged $100 notes at many airports and city forex shops in SE Asia and middle east. i never faced any problems.

One can exchange INR for THB in Bangkok airport itself(I have done it) but I guess the exchange rate for USD is much better. To be on the safe side I would suggest taking USD and exchanging in Bangkok.
