Hey Guys,

I came to Chennai last week for a long term stay here. My workplace is on Arcot Road and looking at the conditions of travel, the best thing could be to stay near office.

Could you suggest the average rent to be paid in these areas for furnished/unfurnished places. If somebody is aware of some contacts or someone interested, pls. let me know.

Though I have read in the previous posts that people giving houses on rent are very particular about veg./non veg. and other things.

If theres another area where theres a possibility of staying and could be called as a happening area/downtown, suggest me as well.

Thanks

arcot road is a long long road. whereabouts on it do you work?

Any area considered happening will leave you with a harrowing commute every day.
meh...

Thanks for the reply. I am very near to AVM Studio at Arcot road and I don't have a personal vehicle at the moment.
